Koinonia Ministries: cultivating fellowship with God and people

Koinonia is the Greek work for “fellowship”.  The biblical picture of fellowship is much more than a loose affiliation of people hanging out. It is people uniting under a common purpose and experiencing life together because of the redemption they share in Jesus.  This is the church united for the purpose of worship, serving, and communing.  

“we proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.  And our fellowship is with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.”

Those that were added to their number “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to breaking of bread and prayer.”
