BMBC Women’s Ministry

The purpose of our Women’s Ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women at Black Mountain Baptist Church and within our community. This ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, to engage in mentoring relationships between the women and youth girls, and to provide opportunities to serve our community for Christ.

Here are some of the ongoing women’s ministry opportunities at BMBC:

Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Come join us as we study God’s Word together.  Tuesday mornings at 9 am in the Conference Room.

Ladies Night Out
All women & young women of BMBC (from 7th grade – 110 years old) are encouraged to attend and bring their friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. for a night of food, fun, & fellowship.  We meet the third Monday of every month, usually in the home of one of our BMBC Ladies.   We have a potluck dinner followed by a testimony shared by one of our ladies or a special word of encouragement. We usually have a fun theme and you never know what to expect from month to month.  YOU WILL BE BLESSED!

Annual Ladies Retreat
Held every spring at Emmanuel Pines Camp in Prescott, Az, the annual Ladies Retreat is something you do not want to miss.  Our goal is to provide a weekend get-a-way from all the chaos of life, where we can have some time alone with the Lord and our sisters in Christ.  We pray that strong friendships will be made and/or strengthened during this time together.  This weekend is also a chance for us to form lasting mentoring relationships with our Youth girls.  Our desire is that each one of us will come away from this weekend with a renewed sense of purpose and passion to live a life that is pleasing to Him!

Other Activities
We have lots of other activities and opportunities to serve throughout the year.  Some examples include, Secret Sisters, Operation Christmas Child, Angel Tree, Set Free Ministries, and many more.
